Friday Class (21 Sep 2007)
Teacher was kindda mad at us for leaving her a “goodbye note” the other day..muahahaha. Regardless, she send us off to ICU and sped-off with great speed. Bah, she shouldn’t have blame us so being so good at slipping away. After all, we learn from the “great master” herself.
Anyway, our class started with clerking ICU patients, then presented the case to “unfortunate victim/doctor of-the-day”. She, however, is a very nice doctor and listen to our reports with patience. We also discussed some small details about the indications to conduct further investigations for cardiology patients.
Later, we had a tutorial on echocardiography and treadmill stress test. While we are at it, we watch the ultrasound of abdominal cavity for a post-MI patient suspected of tromboembolism of mesenteric artery too.
Oh yes, right before teacher did her Harry Houdini on us, she did tactfully left us some topic to prepare for next week class presentation. We will be doing nephrological disease: pyelonephritis, glomerulonephritis, kidney insufficiency.
I’m kindda busy during weekend, so i shall update the blog accordingly under “internal medicine” for the following topics:
